Start with the floor, not the product
Different floors need different care. Tell us what the floor is made of, whether it has been sealed or polished and which areas are causing concern. If you are unsure, send close-up photographs and any product or installation details you have.
Some floors need a thorough clean. Others may need an old finish removed before a new, compatible finish is applied. We confirm suitability rather than assume that every floor should be stripped and sealed.
What the work can include
- Assessment of the existing surface and finish.
- Deep cleaning or machine scrubbing where suitable.
- Removal of old polish or finish within an agreed stripping scope.
- Preparation for an appropriate replacement finish.
- Application of the agreed compatible finish.
- Guidance on returning the area to use and routine maintenance.
The quotation identifies the method, included areas and selected finish. Structural repairs, replacement flooring and damage correction are separate work.
Finish options and expectations
We discuss the appearance and maintenance needs of the proposed finish, including available sheen options where applicable. The final choice depends on compatibility with your flooring and existing condition.
Cleaning or resealing does not remove every scratch, stain or uneven area. Any test area or existing damage should be discussed before the work proceeds.
Plan for access and downtime
Furniture, floor area, ventilation and drying or curing requirements affect the schedule. We confirm preparation responsibilities and when the floor can be walked on, furnished or cleaned again according to the selected product and conditions.
Tell us about entrances that must remain open and whether the premises can be cleaned in sections. Do not assume a fixed return-to-use time before the method and product are agreed.

What affects the price?
Floor area, material, existing layers, condition, furniture movement, access and the proposed finish affect the quotation. Service reports are provided when quoted or requested.

Can you restore damaged flooring?
Cleaning and finish renewal have limits. Cracks, deep scratches and damaged flooring may require repairs by a flooring specialist.
