What the clean can include
- Removal of construction dust from agreed accessible surfaces.
- Cleaning of suitable floors, skirtings, doors and frames.
- Internal surfaces of empty cupboards where included.
- Bathrooms, kitchens and other agreed rooms.
- Window and glass cleaning within the confirmed access scope.
- Detailed attention to reachable edges and finishing areas.
Heavy debris removal, rubble disposal and specialist paint, adhesive or cement removal must be discussed separately. Your quotation confirms inclusions and exclusions.
Plan the clean around the building programme
A final clean works best when dust-producing work has finished and the areas are ready for cleaning access. Tell us which contractors will still be on site, when fittings will be installed and when inspection or occupation is planned.
If the project needs an initial clean followed by a final finishing visit, ask us to quote those stages separately. Further building work after cleaning may require another visit.
Protect the new finishes
New flooring, coated glass, painted surfaces and fittings need methods suited to their materials. Share finish specifications and any supplier care instructions, particularly where residue has dried onto the surface.
We assess what can be removed safely. Cleaning does not correct scratches, installation defects or damaged finishes, and some residue may need specialist attention.
From site photos to a handover plan
Send the floor area, room layout and clear photographs of the current condition. We discuss access, water, power, working hours and the person coordinating the site. A site assessment may be needed before the quotation is finalised.
Service reports are provided when quoted or requested. Tell us if your handover process requires agreed checklists or photographic records.
What affects the quotation?
The size and condition of the premises, glass area, finish types, residue, access and number of cleaning stages affect the price. Let us know your handover date early so availability can be confirmed.
Builders’ cleaning questions
Can you clean while contractors are still working?
We can discuss a staged plan, but active work may re-soil cleaned areas. The scope and timing need to reflect that.
Is rubble removal included?
Only if specifically included in the quotation. Tell us what remains on site before booking.
Can you remove all paint or cement marks?
We need to assess the residue and underlying finish first. Safe removal cannot be guaranteed for every surface.
Prepare for your handover
Send your suburb, approximate floor area, photographs, remaining construction work and target handover date.
